Our Online Test Centre has test papers with questions similar to those used for your school entrance exam. It is therefore vital that before you sign up for your free account or paid subscription that you locate your desired school from our list. This will then enable you to choose the correct product from our shop geared towards your school.

Back in 2004, we just offered generic multiple choice questions in English, Maths, Verbal and Non-Verbal reasoning (as some other 11+ resource providers still only do).  Today this just won't cut it and competition for places is fierce!  As schools, consortiums and local authorities have different tests, in different formats, some in different subjects, we feel passionately that your child needs practice that is as close to the real exam as possible, building familiarity, confidence and speed.

Some schools require written answers, some multiple choice, some require computer marked pages to be completed or your child could be asked to follow audio instructions. New subjects, such as, Spatial Reasoning, Figure Analysis, Figure Recognition, NVR Pictures, Continuous Writing and so on have been added to exams and we have updated with the times.

You don't want your child to practise questions that will simply never come up in their chosen school's 11+ exam, nor do you want to miss any question types that definitely will!

We do! We want you to be absolutely sure you have made the right decision by trusting us with your 11+ requirements. We therefore offer a FREE 7 day trial period where you can try out the full tests, downloads and resources. We offer this free trial with every subscription level. Payment is only taken after the trial period. You can of course cancel at any time. If you choose to cancel you will lose access to the Online Test Centre. Of course, you are able to upgrade at any point or rejoin. Access to the PDF downloads is limited during the trial and the Swot Online Tutor is not allocated at Platinum level until after the 7 days and payment has been taken. 

The Test Centre is our cutting edge online testing centre where students can take their 11Plus online tests. The tests have been specifically designed to match your school in layout, style and format so you know you are focused in on exactly what the school is looking for and it makes a great practice area where you can hone your skills before the real exam. Tests can be taken multiple times and the results stored for later review and analysis.

If your child answers a question incorrectly during an online test, there is a direct link on the Test Review Page to our "How-To" videos explaining how to answer that particular type of question, so you are never far away from the solution and it's a wonderful learning aid (Premium & Platinum level only).

160 How-To Video Tutorials are also available independently in the Online Test Centre, which offer tips, techniques and current teaching methods. These videos are a great study aid for students and for parents wanting to help their child or even home-tutor. (Premium & Platinum level only).

The Test Centre also offers our Topic Genius section, which enables your child to take shorter, topic-specific tests drawing from our data bank of over 45,000 questions. For example, if your child is weak in algebra or spatial reasoning, codes or spellings, they can build their confidence and strength in these areas. (Premium & Platinum level only).

NB: We recommend that Mac & IPad users user the Chrome browser when taking tests. The Safari browser can be unstable when moving pages. (Made by google and available free from the App store)

When you sign up for our paid subscription levels, you get the first 7 days subscription to the Online Test Centre FREE with the study pack. After 7 days you will be moved onto our paid subscription service unless you decide to cancel before that point. Standard, Premium & Platinum level offer different study packs and options in the Online Test Centre.

Yes. You can cancel any of the subscription levels at any time as there is no tie-in.  You are always in control of how long you want your membership to last.  Of course, when you do cancel, you will lose access to your downloads and the Online Test Centre and all the stored results and tracking. You can of course Re-Activate your account at any time.

For example, if your child is weak in algebra or spatial reasoning, codes or spellings, they can build their confidence and strength in these areas. (Premium & Platinum level only).

Our Swot Online Test Centre offers the Answer Genie help button. When a test has been completed and marked online, during the Test Review Stage, correct and incorrect answers can be seen.  The incorrect answers show the Answer Genie button which links directly to video tutorial help, showing how that type of question should be answered (Premium & Platinum level only).

Yes!  Practice is a wonderful thing but, if your child cannot learn from their mistakes, they won't progress very quickly.

Choosing whether or not to engage a tutor is a very personal decision and depends on your child and your financial situation.  We could never make this decision for you. However, it is important to note that the Swot How-To Video Tutorials (offering tips, techniques and current teaching practice by qualified teachers and tutors), which are available to watch separately or through a direct link from the Test Review Page, offer a really cost-effective alternative!

When you consider that a tutor could cost upwards of £180 a month (if you can find a good one that has vacancies at times that suit you) and the Swot Premium membership costs considerably less  (available from the comfort of your own home 24/7), it's food for thought!

Of course you could always go for our Platinum membership that includes 1:1 sessions with the Swot online tutors.

If you join the Platinum level, your child will be allocated a 1:1 online Swot tutor.  The tutor is available online for 1 hour per month to teach, coach and keep your child motivated and on-track. Full details about how to access this service are issued after the 7 day free trial. If extra tutor sessions are required, these can be arranged for you.

As a family business, we feel passionately that all children should have the opportunity to sit the 11+ exam if they want to and have access to resources that will prepare them.  This is why we provide free online practice to children on the Pupil Premium Grant.  To access this free service, please ask your current school to email us with confirmation that you qualify for Pupil Premium funding.
