Entrance Criteria
School: Nonsuch High School for Girls
Nonsuch High School complies with the co-ordinated Admission Scheme which is administered by the London Borough of Sutton.
Girls are normally admitted at age 11, when all pupils must have gained a selective place through the entrance test (SET) which tests English and Maths (multiple choice). Please note this school does not operate a second round of tests like Sutton Grammar School and Wilson's School, even though all grammar schools under the Sutton Local Authority take the SET.

School Extracurricular
Pupils benefit from being involved in the wide range of extra-curricular activities on offer. Over 300 students are doing the Duke of Edinburgh award at bronze, silver or gold level and more than 100 girls are part of CCF. Weekly lunchtime and afterschool clubs such as Astronomy Society, Cheerleaders, Gardening Club, Dance, Debating, Drama, Feminist Society cater for the varied interests of the pupils. During the lunch-break and after school, pupils can join in many sporting activities and may be selected to represent the school in teams at a variety of levels. Year 9 may train to be ball girls at the Fever-Tree Tennis Championships at Queen’s Club.
Musicians choose from our three Orchestras, Concert Band, Jazz Band, numerous ensembles and instrumental groups and several Choirs, all of which perform at concerts, and in both local and national events.
There are frequent trips to hear world class music at venues such as The Royal Opera House and Glyndebourne.
Many educational and cultural visits take place each year, providing the opportunity for pupils to travel both in this country and abroad: to America, China, Spain, France, Germany and Italy. Field courses, conferences, theatre and museum visits all support curriculum studies and enable girls to widen their intellectual horizons
