Bury Grammar School Boys
School Extracurricular

BGSB are very proud of the number of extra-curricular activities they offer. These activities play an important role in pupils’ development into well-rounded, ambitious and talented young men. Students develop positive relationships, self-awareness and enterprise through team and group activity, and these extra-curricular activities do much to develop friendships between pupils, offer scope for developing leadership and foster a lively atmosphere and sense of community.

Many exciting co-curricular opportunities directly related to classroom activities include Mathematics and Science Challenges, field trips for Geography, ICT competitions and foreign exchange trips to France and Germany. They take part in the Young Enterprise scheme and the Rhys Davies Mock Law Trial, which attracts teams from the leading independent schools in the country.
